Half-day ATV ride, river tubing and local coffee
Ride ATVs on forest tracks, float down a river on tubes, then stop for local coffee before heading back.
Full-day ATV, bamboo rafting and turtle centre
A longer ATV ride, a bamboo raft down a jungle river and a visit to a sea turtle centre.

Day tours from Khao Lak with local guides
We run six day trips from Khao Lak: Phang Nga Bay and James Bond Island by longtail boat and sea canoe, two days in the Khao Sok rainforest, a temple trail through Phang Nga and Krabi, and two ATV trips with river tubing or bamboo rafting. Every trip includes pickup from your hotel and drop-off at the end of the day. You book online in Thai baht, from one guest upwards, and you can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before the start.

Where our day trips go
Phang Nga Bay. A full day among the limestone islands: longtail boat, sea canoe into the lagoons and a stop at James Bond Island. Private trips start at 07:00.
Khao Sok rainforest. Walk the jungle trails with a guide and canoe the Sok River, or join the Rafflesia trek to look for the giant flower in season (November to April; sightings depend on blooming).
Three temples. Dragon Cave Temple's serpent stairway, the hilltop chedi at Wat Bang Riang and the golden pagoda at Wat Bang Thong, with lunch and entry fees included.
ATV and rivers. A half day on ATVs with river tubing and local coffee, or a full day with bamboo rafting and a sea turtle centre. ATV trips are for riders aged 13 to 69.

Where do you pick up?
From your hotel lobby in the Khao Lak area. For the Rafflesia trek we also pick up in the Khao Sok area. We send the exact pickup time the day before.
How late can I book?
Most trips can be booked until 10 hours before the start, so usually until the evening before.
Can one person book?
Yes. All tours can be booked from one guest. Private tours are priced per person by group size.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the start for a full refund.
Can children join?
Child prices are available on the Rafflesia trek, Khao Sok, Phang Nga Bay and Three Temples tours. ATV tours are for ages 13 to 69 only.
Which languages do your guides speak?
English on all tours. German is available on Three Temples and Phang Nga Bay, and Japanese on Three Temples, Phang Nga Bay and Khao Sok.
What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes, sun protection and insect repellent on every trip. For temples, wear long trousers or a skirt and a top with sleeves. Each tour page lists exactly what to bring.
